Refiloe Thoahlane who is an Afro-Pop musician well known as Chocolate Soul or Fifi is the first born of Mr Leshele and Mrs Mary Thoahlane. He was born on the 22nd May 1986 at Queen Elizabeth 2 Hospital and grew up in Maseru East and Zimbabwe (1994-1999). His siblings are Fumane Bulane and Moshe Thoahlane.

He attended at Montisorri Pre-school, then went to Maseru Preparatory School (MEMPS) until 1994, he then went to Greystone Park in Harare and Harare International School where he completed his Primary education in 1999. He came back to Lesotho and attended at Machabeng International School of Lesotho until 2002. Refiloe then went to the International School of South Africa. He went to Motheo collage to do N4 (South African National Certificate) to qualify in studying psychology in the University of Free State but dropped out while studying psychology anyway.

He then went to Damelin Collage 2007 where he graduated with a diploma in Sound Engineering and then become a waiter for couple of months.  In 2009 he went to Computer Training Institute to study Diploma in Information Technology Engineering, after that he came back to Lesotho in 2011, he worked at Ultimate radio from February 2011 until September same year but got fired. He got a job after that as an IT trainer at Quadrant Training for about three years, he resigned to work at 357 radio based in Maseru East as Radio Presenter until 2016.

He resigned at 357 radio then went to Johannesburg until he came back in at the end of 2017 and went back to 357 radio where he is currently working as a radio presenter and has just released a new single called Khale. At the age of 16 Refiloe discovered Computer Based Audio Production which shaped his career as a music producer. This all started at a very early age whereby his mother used to play him classic music until he started listening to artists like Michaele Jackson, Beethoven to name a few.

Refiloe has countless singles besides the latest and two albums or mixtapes named Chocolate Dreams and Dream lights (mabone a toro tsaka) he was inspired mostly in to music industry by Tsepo Tshola and Sankomota. Moreover, as he grew older, he became more and more inspired by Electronic dance music. Besides being an artist, Chocolate Soul also host events of which one of them being the Standard Bank Lesotho Tourism Festival known as LETOFE, due to his energetic personnel. There are a couple of events in the pipeline already at the moment that he will be hosting.
